WARNING
The light source from the laser simulator is an infrared light source. The light beam is invisible
to the naked eye. The lens should not be viewed directly to prevent possible eye damage.
CAUTION
Do not touch the lens with bare fingers. Skin oils will damage the optical surface.

Place mode switch (1) on laser simulator to LO position (fig. 3-9).
NOTE
Simulator has a narrow beam and must be manipulated carefully in step o below to obtain ALT track.

Point laser simulator's lens assembly toward ALT receiver in aircraft.
